Who we Are:

The Havasu Art Guild is a non-profit organization in Lake Havasu City, Arizona with over 150 members. Our members consist of people of all ages interested in promoting and participating in creative visual arts and crafts.

We are here to:

 

  • Provide an opportunity for artists and artisans to display their artwork for awards and profit.
  • Aid in the Development of skills and artistic abilities of our young people and community members interested in visual arts by providing workshops, seminars and    allied activities.
  • Award Scholarships to our high school and college students.
  • Offer You the opportunity to participate by becoming a member-regardless of your skill levels or area of artistic interest. 

 

History:

The concept of the Havasu Arts and Crafts Association was started in Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1971 with Jan Harmon as the president.

The Havasu Art Guild, as it is today was formed in 1978. The steering committee was Joan Barry, Barry Gray and Elenor Smith as the first Art Guild president. The objective of the Guild was to encourage individual and Community interest in the creative arts and crafts, and the development of the members natural abilities in all areas of artistic endeavors.
